I will be offline till Late Sunday night or Monday. My family and I are going to be checking out the UV rays at the beach.

Everyone have a safe Memorial Holiday weekend.

    Thanks,

This may have been mentioned before, but the exit for Petro in Sparks, NV is 20 when coming from the west and 21 from coming from the east. I mean you can take either exit to get there, its just longer. The TND seems to always use exit 21

Also I notice it does not remember my route when I turn the unit back on (I power off each night). I have to go back through the history to find my destinations and make sure it routes the way it was before...

Both times I was 200 yards "off route" with the tnd set for manual recalc only, so maybe it doesn't do it if I shut down while still on route -- will test tonight...

Edit: Tested and it works properly if you are on the route and turn off/on. I fairly recently switched to manual recalc route so this may be completely unrelated to the recent update. But it would be nice if you could stop at an unplanned rest area or truckstop along your route (with manual recalc) and not lose your trip.

Looking at it, coming from the East, the Petro is a closer route on exit 21. Otherwise you would have to go to exit 20 and then come back.

I have mentioned that to RM about saving of the route, but currently it does not save your routing, only via points. Saving of the route will be a feature on the Tripmaker which will import via the Dock for the TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Correct. wb x21, eb x20
It loses not just the route, but the destinations as well.

So if in manual recalc and you go off route, turn off TND and then turn on again it loses the trip that you had before you turned it off?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    yes.

By the way, it still seems like it is avoiding routing on us 191 through Yellowstone. This is a legal route
