Autohauler supply and Boydstun parts? Is Boydstun parts part of the old Boydstun trailer company, or do they just sell parts for (you guessed it) Boydstun trailers?

I'm not sure that there is an official connection. Boydston is back in business and both companies are based in Portland. Seems odd that Boydston comes back and all of a sudden Autohauler Supply gets the www.boydstunparts.com domain. I think the real deal here is that the domain name was open and autohauler supply snatched it up before Boydstun could. Seems to be more of a sneaky way to get people to the Autohauler Supply website. They really don't have many Boydstun parts on there actually.

I was under the impression that autohauler supply was some guy working out of his basement.

Wasn't to happy last week. Placed a order with them to be picked up at the warehouse. They shipped the order (to my credit card address) when I told them nobody was there and I still needed it will call, they tried to make it seem like it was my fault for not updating my address with them.
I was just a little pissed.

That's pretty much my impression. I get straps from him, it's always the same guy answering the phone. He's a middle man, most things ship direct from the factory.

I've also used www.cfbender.com quite a bit out of Kansas City. They have a lot of the goofy little parts, like post locks, ratchet stuff, seal kits, etc. for obsolete trailers.

Can't go wrong with CF Bender. They are the real deal. If it has to do with carhaul, they can get the part.

Although I'm done with car haul now, it was clear to me YEARS ago that a car hauler, that had experience as a driver, and a broker, and that wanted to stake a claim in the parts market because they couldn't drive the truck anymore, could make a fortune !!!! Why not ? We know all the parts. We know the prices. We know the business !!!! Yeah yeah .... I know there's a bit more to it then that .....

Jack - before you go jumping back behind the wheel - maybe me, you, and your soon-to-be co-driver might have something here !!
