That's a good way of putting things. I value your opinion and will take it to heart. I want to know when u leased did u pick a truck with good fuel mileage and did u have warrenty. Was your truck payment hard to keep up with . These are things I hear kill drivers . So I want to know from u if u don't mind sharing what was your down fall that caused u too make that decision that being a company guy is better than owning

You know, no offence but you are writing off the best l/p program out there by not doing the six months at Schneider. There is no other program I can find that comes really close at being a fairly good chance at success. Bruenger and Dart are as close as you can get as far as I can tell. For bad leases, don't go with Celadon, they pretty much screwed New when they dropped the fuel s/c to Indy pump price and now the new lease program has the same s/c, higher payments on the truck and maint. And a longer lease period.

Don't ever expect to "own a business" and make money at least as much as driver with a good paying company unless you can and are willing to invest a lot of money of your own,,companies that do lease purchase programs for driver are only doing it because it is cheaper that owning the trucks and hiring drivers,, When you buy a truck you become a business owner,,as a business owner knowing how to run a business is more important than being a driver,, as we all know almost anyone (including Obama) can learn to drive a truck but you must know a lot about running the business to make it.

Are you saying that transam has the best LP out here? If thats the case you clearly haven't done your homework.

Maybe 5 to 10% complete a lease and those ones would've made more just buying a older truck truck outright .. Do the real math on the numbers they provide and your answer will become clear ... Living 6 months at a time in the truck and driving 55 mph just to equal a rookie company driver in earnings IF things go well isn't for everyone
