Hi, tring to get some advice where to start... I'm in a complicated position right now . I'm tring to find were to start i want to drive i love being out there , went with fiance (that is the position) for 5 1/2 yrs I LOVE IT , but i never drove I want to so bad i can't stand it i tried when things were good , to be taught, but it never got done due the kids. now i have to do whats best for me and my kids just in case the worst is to happen. BUT i haven't work for those years because he wanted me to raise the kids at home instead of being gone all the time, so money is going to be a issue with some of the schooling that i have been checking out, i have noticed alot of companys that will train and hire you , but again alot of the companys i refuse to work for (my Opinion) we done Van Lines that is where i want to end up. i understand that some places will finance but what is good??? i have a place right in my home town the cost is stupid $6000.00 and i live right next to it, that sad. how about any companys that will train but if it don't work out you can move on with a BIG issue.??
there is so much more to ask but this is a start hope someone can help me out??? i'm not totally new new but...still have get the right direction

Look into the WIA program, at your States Job Center. They may pay for your schooling?
Be prepared for "Long Suffering, and coming on these boards, complaining... When you can't find a job"
Either way... Good Luck !! -
i graduated from central tech's truck driver training back in the summer of 2000. My instructor was Ken Milner and it was a great program. I learned alot and had fun doing it. Its a great program and you will love it.
DedHedEd Thanks this. -
