Nothing to do with ohio, but for anybody who has not been through arizona should know that 90 percent of there inspections are done on the roadside. You will see trucks pulled over on the 10 and 40 all day long. You dont have to be doing anything wrong for them to pull ya over. And never park on the shoulder or on a ramp cause they will whip in behind you and start there inspection. The highway patrol out there like to match up receipts (scale ticket, etc) with your log book. I got pulled over in arizona a few weeks ago and got a level one. The officer was cool though.
born&raisedintheusa and DJGuam Thank this. -
I used to run Ohio a lot and I saw a bunch of the white CMV enforcement cars sitting in the median and going after people who passed by. And harassing people in the rest areas. Somehow I never got bothered but I got lucky a few times. That little scale house on 76 just west of Akron on the westbound side is a pisser. Sometimes I would run 77 down to 70 to get to Columbus just to avoid that one.

Who cares? Just make sure you log off duty when you pull in. Its ridiculous how drivers act so scared. Just do you freaking job and know your rights.
not4hire, born&raisedintheusa and 77smartin Thank this.
