If your more worried with what you can or can't do as opposed to what you have to do your destined to fail.

Weeds out the weak? It compromises all the hard work one invested in his business.
TennMan Thanks this. -
what a long day, I'm exhausted. 500 miles in rain, traffic and accidents and 3 different stops doing drop and hooks and one live load. My 14 hour is shot and I had to park at the shipper for the night.
WTF was with all the traffic everywhere in Wisconsin?
What there some kind of legendary cow show in Wisconsin all of the Mid-west left from in the morning?Waggledaddy, Dominick253, mxpx148 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Amen to Sadwar and DFO.......I run wild so I get to see a lot of new stuff and the rates are fairly good (not as strong as Sadwar, but I try to stay out of the NE.......it's a real buzz killer for me). But, getting home......brother, you gotta take whatever you can get.
It's like this, throw a dart at the map of the United States.......pretty easy to hit. Now, take the same dart and hit Whatever, GA.......it's pretty tough. In the morning, I'll pick up a $.99 load from Charlotte to Atlanta just to get home. Good news is that my load into Charlotte paid $1.88.....sooooooo.......but nevertheless. It's all about managing your time, your miles, and your life.
Good job, Whipper and best of luck. Make all the money while you can, because someday some girl is gonna want to see you more than once a month. Unlikely, I know, but stranger things have happened.....look at me!! LOLRoseMan, Waggledaddy and Dominick253 Thank this. -
If we as drivers do research, make smart decisions and not work for nothing it will help us all.
Oh and FYI I wouldn't have come here without all of you all sharing your stories and answering my questions.
Now ya'll question when I'm sharing and answering questions? lol okay then.Muttsley, Waggledaddy, Ooops and 9 others Thank this. -
TennMan Thanks this.

Number of Choice drivers increasing but hi paying freight is not.
I don't recall seeing as many screen shots until you started them.
Do as you please but the more choice drivers competing for those limited hi paying loads the harder it is for us all.
I wish SNI would grow the load board as quick as they are the choice driver pool. -
TennMan and freightwipper Thank this.

A huge reason WHY I came to choice is because I don't have a wife and kids and have no reason to be home.
If I had to be places I'd earn way less, there's no doubt in that.
If someone lives in a crappy area that sucks for them too.
I've realized I can do better spending money on an airplane ticket to Florida to visit my family vs driving down there and blowing time with cheap freight.
Everybody has a different situation and yes people that need to be places at certain times a lot and/or live in a bad area joining choice isn't the brightest of ideas.TennMan and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
In the end , people will latch onto the info they want to hear rather accept the plain truth.
How many get sucked in with UP TO XXXXXX yr?drvrtech77 and TennMan Thank this.
