Delete this file - Navi/User/AddressBook/addrbook.db and then add one entry, the DB will rebuild with just the one entry.

Currently you have to add one entry into a group, but I can take that request (feature) back to RM.
Yes, as for the add one entry at a time to a group... that feature stinks. Our drivers are not tech friendly, so they asked for me to group them... all 344 of them. PLEASE request that feature ASAP!!

The Dock is supposed to be able to import an address book, but I have not figured out the format for the .csv file. I have build a few custom POI's that work with the TND.
I actually did import the initial file of 344 entries as a CSV through the dock software. That part worked well. I was not as knowledgeable then as I am now, but I have gathered some info as to how to better import. I was originally under the impression that you could only import a total of four columns (which I did successfully), but it seems that there may be up to nine columns available. That was going to be one of the tests I run on the blank unit after I wipe the original address book blank.

If you wish to E-Mail me the address book file you currently have I can look at it also and see how it looks in SQL.
I opened our file with SQLite and exported all entires as an .xls file. I then deleted all the fields & columns that were null. It looks to sort the data very differently from an import versus an entry you look up and save on the device. I can email you that file also if you like. What is your email address?

Going east on I70 between St Louis and Effingham, apparently I'm supposed to take 57N / 70 ro Chicago / Idianapolis? This typo has been here forever.. you'd think it would of been fixed by now

 

I bought a tablet about a month ago and it has been working great. Today, I decided to try dock it for the first time and add a few POIs. So I downloaded the dock software and tried to install it but it keeps saying to plug the gps into the laptop. I hit YES that it is connected but it wont let me go past that screen in the installation. My tablet is connected and recognized by the laptop but the dock software acts like its not plugged in and wont let me finish the install. Any help for me

 

Forgive me if this has been answered, having lockups still on the 720, did the update a month or so ago and still locking up. Any advice. Happens mainly in citys.

 

TND Tablet does not use the RM Dock software. It should update automatically when connected to wifi I use mine with my mobile hotspot.

one issue i find with the TND730 is it forgets your trip if you pull in a truck stop
