I haven't looked at the statistics here nor care too, I simply posted this thread as an informative piece showing a possibility of the future = if it's shown the cost of installing these systems (which could be a few hundred dollars each) is cheaper than the costs of "killing or injuring up to 50 million people throughout the world each year" truckers nationwide will likely see them in their near future (and I don't care if you need to spend an extra five minutes per week keeping the screens clean lol). -

Technology can be a great thing, but I see this as an extremely expensive and high maintenance device. Although the amount of traffic on the highways is increasing exponentially, one thing that would make a device like this obsolete is common sense. More and more our lives are becoming dependent on electronics and gadgets to do our thinking for us. Where will it lead?
