Im 99% sure it is owned by Matty Moroun (Central Transport)

I asked pam drivers at fuel stops a couple times "they treating you right over there?" both times I got the "meh, so so", kind of response,

As a x central driver, I can tell you you'll work and have plenty of freight, and also, if you get a scary lookin tire, or a sick sounding turbo, your gonna have to get creative with a breakdown call to get it fixed..No maintenance happenin at all...

The company has its own insurance company, which is kind of a joke...(cherokee ins)...not many providers are signed up and contracted to do service for this little small group in warren michigan..for me, single, no kids, it was 54 bucks a week for the cheap plan, 2500 ded...

It's a starter company or last resort type of company. They will start you out at 30-32 cpm. As a solo you can avg 2500-3000 week. Maintenance shops are all over USA. It's a temporary job at best. Gl

Did someone mention Matty maroon?..... Or central transport?
.... Or was that someone puking
PAM is a Matty outfit.... Yes
You can get a fresh start at Pam but you will want to move up in the world as soon as you get a chance.... I hope you don't have a family to support because there's no $ in working for these kind of people but they will always need warm bodies in their money makers
    ... Good luck

PAM is quite different than Central Transport.

They give preferential treatment to teams, so be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting in Laredo if solo.
If you do get a load going north, be prepared to hand it
off to a regional relay team in Irving.

If they see that you are reliable and don't give your DM much grief, they may give you a dedicated automotive route which are nice.

It is what you make of it.

Go with Pam only as an act of desperation! Otherwise, hope you don't mind less then $400 a week as a team driver. Think you can make more at McDonalds. I was with them 3 months. Left, paid cash for my school and never looked back. Got tired of dispatch taking my loads away to let me sit for 2 days. Make over $1200 now in flatbed. I would not recommend Pam to my worst enemy.
