Hello to all and thanks for reading. I got a 98 379 and my driver side window regulator spins but won't roll down my window.

Anyone know if any other truck regulators are interchangeable or the correct part number. Or even maybe where I could find one that's not so dang expensive.

    Thanks.

I think the shaft is just pressed in,if that's what is spinning a touch of weld should do it.

Yeah I was thinking of that as well. Maybe even Jb weld? It's already shot so I am gonna tack weld it see if it saves me the $319! That Rush wants for the darn thing. Honestly I can buy a used door for $400 bucks and it comes with all the guts. Thanks for your suggestion.

I have a 98 379 as well. the screw that holds the regulator to the gear broke off. need to find a way to get that broken end of the screw out of there.

I'd just replace it, but I haven't had my door panel off yet. Never messed with the inside guts of a door.

I NEVER use RUSH.....I'll drive 100 miles to a non RUSH store.

You can still find a pete dealership that isn't associated with rush.
