Safe trucking career for drivers with scoliosis?

    While scoliosis itself is never a disqualifying factor, it rarely is a concern at all unless it's greater than 15 degrees of curvature. As long as you can move without restrictions or weakness or balance problems, the scoliosis itself won't be a problem.

    This is all in how they are spec'ed. We have Volvo VHDs where I work as well as Freightliner FLDs, Columbias and Coronados. The Volvos are by far the WORST riding trucks and the FLDs are the best. Perhaps its the Mack influence on the suspension in the VHD?
