    I don't understand how you guys get your numbers. If you gross $5,000/week that's $3,250 after their cut.
    Now take out you weekly deductions ( insurances, tags fuel, truck payments etc. Etc. How are you still saying you are bringing over $2000 .
    Tt or frieght wipper. Can you run those numbers by me.
    Let's say you ran. 2500 miles x $1.80=$4,500 you still have to take out their percantage(fill in blank) along with your fixed expenses. ( what is it weekly) and your fuel. Leaves you with????????
    My guess would be $4,500×65%=$2,925-1100(fixed expenses)=$1,825- $950 (fuel) =$875

    Ps. I have read everyone's post on all 66 pages in one shot and I am kinda tired. Lol. I'm not trying to stir the pot. Just get an understanding. I have 10 years experience and live in Joplin mo. I have owned my own truck and had to sell do to a work related injury. Took 6 months to heal and I had no insurance and only money saved up, so I had to sell my semi. I am thinking about choice but the numbers aren't checking off in my head.

    Yes all the numbers are after SN gets their cut which is 35 %. Yes you can bring someone along, not sure what the insurance rate is.

    Where you are confused is that our load board is set to where the revenue you see is what you get.
    If you watch the youtube video on the first post you'll see.
    If a load is listed at: Point A to Point B. total revenue to the truck $1000.. you get $1000
    They're all posted after Schneider take out their cut.
    At Landstar you have to do math on every load... and see the FSC and Linehaul rate minus 35% from the linehaul blah blah.
    Here it's simple.
    As far as rates go they're all over the place, it all depends on how you want to run and how much BS you want to put up with.
    If you want don't to go home all the time and you're willing to put up with more crap you can average over $2+ all miles. It's no BS I blasted past $6k in revenue last week and can prove it if need be. Last week was my best week though and I busted by butt working.
    It wasn't easy though and the loads weren't fun.
    The fun cross country loads generally pay $1 a mile.
    The load I'm on right now, sitting at a dock at a local supermarket in the Northeast was listed at 184 miles and $917.34 to the truck or pretty much $5 per loaded mile BUT it's multistop and ends up in CT which sucks.
    Loads pay peanuts around here so I'm probably just gonna deadhead out but I can do that because I got a good rate going in.
    Generally I don't pile on a lot of miles because I do a lot of shorter regional loads but that's just me and my choice.
    I hate moving this truck for cheap. You posted thinking what? 2500 miles for $2925? lmao! :biggrin_25513: Those are Swift and CR England flease numbers buddy. I wouldn't get out of bed for numbers like that.
