I'm thinking of coming on with Eagle. I live in central FL. What terminal would I run out of and does anyone make money in the south to Midwest?

Load broad is going to be your best friend if you never run broker loads before it's going to be ruff for a little while you can run out of any one because you will be in your own world. Study some load broad look were you want to run call those broker and ask them wath the rates are in the lane you thinking go refer are flat in Florida best bet

Lol yeah I've seen on this thread that drivers are still waiting for their refers. I don't mind running a dry van as long as I can make money I'll be happy.

As of July 1st, we no longer run Celadon freight. We can run the freight they broker (and can get the full rate, not the brokered rate) but we don't run Celadon drop and hooks any longer

Logs and safety work AT Celadon, but work FOR Eagle. As for the trailers, that's it's much better for Drivers to rent Celadon trailers (which they handle all maintinance work on) then to pay for an Eagle DV only to lose that equity if you switch to Reefer.

If you want to go DV, then you'll get an Eagle trailer from the start.

    Little problem with holiday delivery

Just had a little fun with office folks haha
    Convo with my new dispatcher

Any word on delivery options sir?

We will most likely have to deliver Monday but we will be charging XPO for everyday you sit

U have that dcs number? They need to know I'm delivering it today I'll drop it at the guard shack or there drwy ontime delivery as soon as humanly possible what more can they want ?Maybe u can call
    Them again?

I'm still trying. Don't drop without getting an okay first. If you drop we can't charge them more money for holding it

Lol,ok I'm just yanking your chain but I'll sit on it for free if that broker Miguel will humbly apologize ...ok that's a lie I won't do it for free either Did I scare Ya?

Haha No I just didn't want you to lose out on money
