I believe that the biggest issue with the posting of the settlement is.

1st it's been edited and I realize that's for good reason but also leads some to believe if you edit it how does anyone know if it's real.

2nd how are your deductions so low when the weekly fixed should be about 1130.

3rd why haven't the negative settlements or low settlements been posted to show a balance.

I'm not saying it's not accurate but I can see why people question why you're so willing to put this info out there.

1st thing that comes to mind is recruiting whether you are or aren't I don't care but if it is the purpose then just be honest.

I know you can have great weeks here but even I'm leary that you can do 7k in revenue and only spend 800 on fuel unless you carried over fuel or load from previous week. And if that's the case then say so. Also if there's any bonus money it should also be stated.

If you chose to continue posting as you do then have fun but for those of us who are also out here doing it were just skeptical is all.

Besides we don't need anymore competition.

Jar head also had 11 recruits in 3 weeks so I'd say there might of been a little truth in it.

I can say not once do I recall FW asking or telling anyone to pm him for info so I don't believe he's actively recruiting.

And I only know of 11 because I've met some and been contacted by some.

I can't confirm he got bonuses for them but can say they mentioned him as reasons they came aboard.

I'm taking cheap $1 per mile freight to near Gary, Indiana.
Schneider contacted me to do something on the side for them in the area for the company.
And no it has nothing to do with pulling a load or dealing with freight.
I'm not saying anything else till it's a done deal.

Freight Wipper, Dude, you don't have to explain yourself to ANYBODY!
If your thread irritates these "drivers" that much then why are they continuing to follow your thread??

Here's my loads I did on my $4k week.. I was over $6k gross for the week I didn't actually do $7k.. that was carry over money. I didn't count that in other postings.
I took pictures from my cell phone of my laptop with the assigned loads for the week. I crossed out the load number and the cities because that's too personal.
You all can see the miles and the pay... run the numbers and see.

Few things here... when my pay period week started I had a load cancel on me. I wrote about it during that time on this thread. Schneider offered me to stay on my loads and to bobtail to my next one.
I ran the numbers and still felt I would do well so I did it.
That's why the week started out with soo many empty miles but I was bobtailing which meant 10+ MPG

When you run the numbers you see I was under 3000 miles for the week and over $6k in revenue at around $2.20 all miles. That's how $4k after expenses was pulled off for a work week.

I keep it real in my thread and I'm not making stuff up.
"To make $4,000 in 1 week, you need a big paying load to carry in from the previous week and then run your arse off the rest of the week. (If it's even possible)."
Wrong... magical things can happen when you don't take cheap freight.
But don't listen to me because I'm just a "misleading neebee".

Since the start of this thread I've been very opened with my own mistakes, faults... things I hate about Schneider and the positive and things I'm happy about.
One thing I don't do is BS people or make stuff up, what I share is my experience here and my experience as a driver. (which yes isn't a lot)
With that being said no I don't normally clear $4k, that was my best week ever.
And no I'm not no expect.. I'm still learning and making mistakes.
I got screwed on memorial day holiday time and this recent July 4th weekend.. I had poor planning and I acknowledged that.

FW....thanks for the info; 47% of your total miles is empty, I once saw another IC driver empty miles at 33%(and thought that was high) of his total mile(2014). Point taken: skip cheap freight, run empty.

    You're welcome
That was a crazy week.. you can't base anything off that though.
That was my highest grossing week since I've been here and my highest empty miles week. (wasn't 47% though dunno how you got that)
Having those two statements together is extremely rare.
The load that cancelled took me 2/3s of the way in route to my next load and paid right at $2 all miles. So that week actually could have been higher.
I'll deadhead anywhere if the price is right though but that's just me.
I got lucky with some high paying loads and luck does play a factor into all this.
Every week is a roll of the dice but generally after time I think every IC here gets a general idea around what they can pull off. Sometimes you get real lucky with loads, sometimes you screw yourself like I did around holiday time and sometimes you just might get lazy, winter time can throw things off a load up North. There's soo many variables, choices and possibilities it's near endless.
Some markets have the same weekly loads (if you can get them) and some ICs make it a goal to run an area and pattern of loads within that area.
It is nice to have soo much you could do both job and lifestyle wise. That aspect holds such a value to me and it's rare to find in any other type of job.
I'm spoiled, I can never go back to being a company driver again.
