Lol. I'm going to pass on getting personal. My point to you was that if it's so negative there at Eagle, which is what you're portraying, go find another job. Your quotes addressing flcracker's inquiry was all I was commenting on. But half a paragraph and three posts of poor grammar and insults gets your point across better. You have expressed some truth, give you that but your contradictory logic is glaring.

decided to sit back and let my OM book all my loads and I was running real good until this load which is a customer load. Shipper kept me at the dock for 11hrs then I was late for delivery and guess what they wouldn't take me and they are closed on the weekend haha I've been babysitting, wonder if I can get some reimbursement since it's a customer load.

Look, all fr8monkey is trying to say is, if you come to Eagle, you would be better off having some experience with lease purchase, booking your own loads, and have some running capital because you will have bad weeks. And since Eagle is a young company, you won't get the best rates from the brokers, until they see that Eagle and it's operators are going to be around for the long haul, and can improve on making on-time deliveries.

We get a lot of loads from CHR, but we also had a lot of late deliveries for them, therefore, that has to improve in order for the rates to improve.

Celadon has forced dispatch, mainly to the NorthEast for their lease operators, that works for some, and for some it doesn't. Many of their lease operators call themselves "Glorified company drivers" because like company drivers they have no say in the loads they get and the lanes they run, unlike company drivers, Celadon lease ops. have a very expensive truck to pay for and no benefits.

So to wrap it up, if you don't have leasing experience, experience working with brokers, and if you don't have some working capital for the bad weeks, don't come to Eagle.

Ran into one of your guys in OKC today, Nice young man, said he's been there since Jan. Had a long interesting talk about Eagle. Very in depth, included going over his weekly settlements. I'm interested.

CompanyB, I'll tell you a secret about CHR, having had multiple head butting sessions with them over the past 10 years. You ain't ever gonna improve your on-time rate unless drivers/companies willing to run illegal. CHR specializes in shippers who take their own sweet time to load you, excell at overloading you, and giving you an unbalanced load to boot. CHR then expects the load to still meet a delivery time that they refuse to reschedule. The best way to deal with CHR is not to deal with them if there is any other option available... and I mean ANY other.

Is CHR still making you read them every single number everytime you call before they'll discuss anything?
