Well ####### at least I can read and write which you apparently cannot. Re-read my post...I did tell them about the drug. I don't need mom...just some honesty. Wake your mom up and slap her since she didn't teach you to read and write the English language.

No, future shortbus driver, you didn't ask. You "made?" a recruiter aware. Honesty? LOL! From a recruiter? WOW!! If you get a big boy truck driving job, never turn the flashers off. Prescription? Nuf sed

What was the Medication? I don't want to pry but you opened the door by admitting you are taking a prescription which may have potential side effects that could adversely affect the liability of any carrier, not just TMC.

When will driver's learn that most recruiters will say ANYTHING to get you into orientation. It doesn't matter to them if you are rejected at pre-employment or anytime thereafter. Recruiters are paid based on how many poor schmucks they can rope into the pre-hire process. You could tell them you are an illegal alien drug addicted escaped mental patient with no arms and legs and they would say "that shouldn't be a problem, when can you start orientation??"

I don't know what's more amazing, a driver entering a lease with a company that holds the note on the truck AND controls the freight he hauls. Or the fact the OP signed up last Monday and the screen name "AngryTrucker" had never been used before...

the op is right about nci. they are liars. they mess up each and every load. in the time i have been here. i rarely see a load that is planned right. they will make it look like its right. upon check-in you find out the load is way late being picked up. many of the the customers are angry with them over late loads. and the driver takes the heat for it.
so what's the pay really like for drivers at nci? the pay works out to bounce between $$7.90 and $9.30 an hour. the weekly average is $630 to $644. I just checked prior to posting. it sucks majorly. the only people that get a good pay package out of the whole company. are the people that work in liberal. every one else gets shafted hard. I can't say much about the insurance. as i can't afford it. I have heard where people are making money on the lease purchase program. but that is hear say. no one has came across with the proof. as a fleet driver/ employee. I have seen a few $0.00 weeks. and then i have seen weeks where the were $1150.00. so based on my income. I am able to project the annual income for drivers at nci. $27,500 to $33,340 annually. that really sucks. the job works out to be nothing more then brand new truck. and yes they due put the driver through an unspeakable amount of crap. many don't even realize what they are doing to them. for those of that figure it all out. well they like retaliating against us. they are a dirty company to work for. one thing i have come to learn. that would be the difference between voluntarily going to elogs. and being forced on them by the feds. and yes nci was forced on to elogs. if they didn't have them. drivers here would be treated far worse then you can imagine. so the other thing I have learned. is nci doesn't give a dang for the drivers. not in the least bit. they will act like they do. and make people think they do. that's just for show. behind the scenes it is completely different. walking on the drivers. is something they seem to enjoy. that I think i am the only one who notices that. so if you are reading this post and considering nci. so good advice: RUN!!!! don't walk!!!! RUN from them!!!! they are damaging if not piosoness to a drivers career.

Anybody saying there not making money as a company driver for nci needs to look at there work ethic. Im 4 months with nci first month 2500 miles since then im getting 2800 to 3000+. Yes i had a bad week truck broke down on a home time week 300 dollar check. Sucked other than that and one night time dispatch lets just say disagreement everything is great here. My dispatch jeff knows i run so he keeps me moving. Anyway sone of you guys helped me out with a truck owner thst screwed me out of my money cause i was new a year ago. My wife and i were just about ready to say to hell with trucking took the advice i was giving and it worked out great. NCI is fit for me in my short time out here.
