Jones trailer rental is $180 a week and all repairs covered by Jones..They are still paper logs, unless you want to be electronic, You can run how you want and they will not bug you, You decided when you want to go home.
I have been leased on to them for 4 years and no complaints overall....They will settle with you within 48 hours of paperwork being scanned

I'm about to retire from the Army in 3 weeks and I'm looking for an owner operator from Jones to hire me on in the flatbed or stepdeck division so I can get back into the business. I currently live in Fayetteville, NC and will be moving to El Paso, TX in November, so if anyone knows of a O/O looking to hire on someone please have them email me at motivatorhb@gmail.com and we can discuss experience and all that. Thanks, Robert

Regarding being paid within 15 days .... it is required by the leasing rules that any carrier pay an owner operator within 15 days of receipt of required paper work. You would probably have a very hard time finding a lease agreement with any company that says any different. Owner Operator lease agreements have pretty much the same terms no matter which company you are leasing to. While some carriers have quicker pay they probably don't commit themselves to it in their lease agreement.

I've been with jones for two years and I've always got paid two days after transfloing bols' and delivery receipts, except on Thursday or Friday ,and then your paid on Monday or Tuesday. They paid for a Penske tractor, for two weeks, when my truck broke down in Mississippi and they were very good about me paying them back at a very reasonable pace. When I got my truck back home I took 3 months off while selling my mothers house, who had passed in 2013. I sent them a couple hundred bucks now and then for permits and insurance. They have never forced a load on me, or have I been mistreated for not taking a load. They have a ample amount of freight and if I'm a bad area my team leader is always happy to look on her screen for a load. I've been at it for 31 years, too long, and you learn to talk to a number of drivers from the company you are interested in. You call agents that are in the directories they provide. You always ask for the pay, miles ,weight, material , tarp or not, p/u place and times, and del. place and times, and if you like it, you take it. If not , call another agent. This is only the second place I've stayed at for more than 2 years, and I plan on being there for quite a few more.
