I get to try my hand operating a rgn trailer on Tuesday. It is a tri axle but the load will be light. Got the run down on the trailer operation today. Should be a fun 19 day run. Kind of excited about it.

Very ignorant on equipment but I think I heard somewhere not to hook chains to tracks because tracks can come apart/off. Or is that one of those never ending arguments we all love.

Had to make an over night run yesterday. Since we get perdiem for hotel and food when we have to stay out over night then I thought what the heck, I will just take my portable sleeper with me....

All this for some equipment...... This is only the second grader I have ever hauled and the first time I had to load one by myself so I had to figure out all the blade controls to get it on the trailer correctly.

I found out tonight that I have 2 more runs to make to the same location. One for a 330 excavator and one for a water truck.

How is the back this morning? I had to do the same thing a few years ago. We had a new tractor pull up in Hill City, Mn. Never been there before. Rode with dad up the night before. I brought a pup tent along. [ Not bunking with him in a 63" flat top. ] Hoping for a nice fairgrounds, You know mowed grass and shade trees. No luck all there was is a little gas station with room for a few trucks. 2" rock lot with a swamp all around. One empty stepdeck sitting there. I pitched my tent on top. All night I was waiting for some guy hook up to his trailer and find me in a tent. Home made wood deck with carriage bolts holding it down. Felt like a pin cushion in the morning.
