Orientation is in Charlotte I believe. The health assessment is pretty standard. Blood pressure, pee in a cup, bend, squat, move some objects and drag some weight across the room. Ideally the 18 day out fleet is the highest starting rate you can get. That I believe is 50 or 51cpm to start out of Florida. Make sure you take your medication if you take any. The Charlotte terminal looks kind of dumpy in my option but don't let that give you a bad vibe. Sam the terminal manager is awesome and the shop guys are a good bunch of guys. Not sure what they have for trucks there but if you get a trade in truck you'll be in a new rig pretty quick.
Jacksonville should be very easy to get home to every weekend mostly on time. We run a lot of stuff between Tampa and Jacksonville. Also split loads can be set up for OTR loads that need to run out of or into your area. Don't plan on running 3000 miles a week and be home every weekend. It won't happen. You might be able to go through the house with loads if you are close enough to the highway and it works with your schedule.Last edited: Aug 16, 2015

.34 cpm unless you have a hazmat endorsement then its .37 cpm and add the sliding scale...I was told add about .03 cpm to your base and that will be pretty close to the average....so with a hazmat endorsement I was told that it would be reasonable to see .40 cpm and run somewhere around 2200 to 2500 miles a week...the miles I am not so sure about.
Jacked Jaw and T_Bone Thank this. -
