CDL School Curriculum

They don't teach you to float a no no at most companies, they don't teach you to blind side 90 you'll be lucky to do learn to pass a drivers side 90 in that amount of school time -- some schools I have heard of don.t teach you to even back up..it's all much harder than it looks

My school was 5 weeks long and i just passed my CDL test today ..

Our school you learn how to double clutch only 10 and 13, straight back,off set -driver and blind and ,parallel on blind and driver side, 90 driver side only , also driver side 45 .
also how to do a full pre-trip and air brakes test..along with multiple road tests

 

If floating was a no no then there would be no one employed.....

 

schools wont teach that or not any good ones anyways..

 

A month from now tell me how long it took for you to stop double clutching. Schools have 1 objective to get you a license not how to be prepared for the real world

 

Going to a company to team with my wife and its all automatics so no more double clutching after tomorrow lmao...But in the real world im sure your right but these on board computers at alot of companies are now able to tell if your not clutching and are getting on to drivers.. I have had my CDL since 1992 and I always double clutch, always.
