If a trucking company requires dozens of traveling / desk jockey craigslist recruiters, Major Malfunction and avoid like the Super Ebola HIV.

The best companies to work for (with some exception) absolutely do not have recruiters. Why? They don't need them. What they do have is HR staff that will screen applicants and oftentimes conduct an initial one on one interview before passing the applicant along to the hiring manager who will also conduct an interview. Ya know, like a real company would do in any line of work.......
If I have to deal with a recruiter to get hired, then I am looking at the wrong company.
Even for new drivers there is no reason to ever have to deal with a recruiter. Unfortunately most new drivers are too lazy to do the work necessary to find companies that will hire new drivers that do not have recruiters.Shaggy Thanks this. -
and this is from a temp agency that specializes in truck driving jobs. i have been through this at least twice in my time. but i call it a hiring service.Last edited: Aug 30, 2015

I would even dare say that companies that even have recruiters in the payroll should be considered at the VERY least, suspect.
