They are awesome. They are on old military base. Lots of practice driving on empty streets with live road trips. Assuming you mean the one in neosho mo.

 

From what I've heard they're good!
DMV for test book, and lots of online resources available.

 

Scroll to the top of this page and click on "CDL Practice Tests"; memorize those and you're good to go.

Get a TWIC card if you have the money; Google for nearest TWIC office. You will need this if you go tankers. Used for entry to sea ports, military bases, chemical plants.

 

Don't be tempted to work for the Conway truckload deal thru crowder.

Avg 9100 miles a month company wide I posted their announcement in the thread.(this includes both regional and team in the figure)

Swifts a better deal lol.

 

Be careful if your not going to Conway TL they tend to cater more to their students since Conway is their bread and butter..Good school but you may not get the same attention if your struggling ..Conway students from what we experienced where about 2/3 the class each session and nearly all where Puerto Ricans flown in by Conway that have a very tough time with English that are bought and paid for by Conway, so they tend to get a lot more attention at the expense of the few self pays..

 

Does D and D hire out of school? You might check out rbx in springfield, heard lots of good stuff on them.

 

RBX will hire you right out of Crowder they seemed like a very good company to start with,only reason we didn't choose to start there is they are just getting started with teams((2) and we didn't want to chance it on low miles..
