In normal circumstance, i agree, and thank you...

He lost my dirtbike off a mountain high on heineken, he laughed and laughed...got up off his butt and laughed some more, and says' well I guess i owe you a dirtbike', this 8 years ago...makes six digits too

So, I might not...I want to destroy his tires, not his motor

Not because im a decent guy, but because I fear karma in general!! LOL

    Whatever works right?

I have one in a '13 F550 at work. I found it suffers from a serious lack of balls until the turbo spools. Then it seems decent. Never seen it make more than about 20 lbs of boost either.

Your 13 F550 is detuned. They are around 300hp and 650 torque. Where stock the 13 is 400hp and 800 torque.

I know you are on to it, but I think they like having a big pickup truck. I know I had a N14 that got 11 miles to the gallon when I hauled 40,000lbs and under. How that cant be better then the pickups MPG is way beyond me.

If your running at 75 -80 mph you will naturally consume more fuel cutting back to 65 or even 60 will give you more miles per gallon ideally you need a engine with more horsepower that will also give you great mileage kind of a rare commodity there days.

The 6.4 powerstroke makes so much power with a tuner alone that other motors would need parts upgraded to even get close.H&S performance makes a tuner and so does SCT.check out the guys at powerstroke.org they can steer you in the right direction for tuning.

Tune, exhaust, aftermarket intake, bullet proof it. 6.4 are known for putting 550hp to the ground with few mods...just hope the torque converter holds

Rig the 6.4 has had problems with carbon buildup in the turbo vanes causing weak boost and poor mpg because the variable geometry turbo doesn't work properly
