My truck locked itself after freightliner had halfway put my door back together.a driver came over with a pair of vise grips and turned the little black circle that turned the vent window lock.reached in and opened my door

As heavy tow guy, never had a lockout i couldnt handle...Never with slim jim...long story -
Happened to me in my 2006 Silverado, was about 10 degrees outiside and I wasnt dressed for it, sucked.

I helped a lady Arnold driver who had locked herself out at a Home Depot D/C. My key unlocked her door like it was made for it. She had said the same thing about Naviatars only having a few different keys. Kinda scary to sleep in a Prostar...guess it doesn't matter if I don't lock my door anymore. -

There is a trick to get into the prostar's but sense this was made back on friday I wont post that in the open. =) -
If the Prostar has a wing on the door that opens, breaking into it is pretty easy with a long screwdriver, or I've even done it with a stiff twig broken off from a nearby tree. Just jam it into the crack between the wing glass and the rubber molding, and press the unlock button on the front part of the armrest. Unless the truck has a dead battery or you have the battery cut off switch off, it will pop open the locks. I've done it several times.
