I seen several loads from San Antonio to Tennessee, $.73/mile. Who in their right mind would pull that?

The flood of inexperienced ICs is what has brought it down IMO. Especially in the Midwest where there's so many ICs anymore I see more than company trucks.
But freight in general is pretty much a regional deal anymore due to the volume that is put on rail. Unless you pull something other than a box, your not going to find great rates going from one region to another.driverdriver and Drifter42 Thank this. -
Is schneider charging early termination fees/charges on the lease if you won't sign the new agreement ?

I'm sure if you don't keep the truck they will. You can take it somewhere else if you like.
