Has anyone ever used Hess Dispatch for Dispatch, or even HEARD of them?
They are located out of Michigan I think, but their web site appears to be down more than up.
Emails haven't really been returned in a timely manner but in chatting with them, they appear to be former truckers.....
So I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. They offer references but those aren't of much good unless I know someone who knows someone.
With the same topic, can anyone recommend a dispatch service that works off a % that isn't out to rob us and yet provides a decent service? - I can find most of my own loads but its nice to have someone else do the searching and invoicing.
Hess Dispatch service...or another dispatch service?

If you are ok with 10% there is North American Solutions but they run dry vans and reefers. I am not sure if you got HazMat but if you want you can talk to the owner.

If they are not responding to you in a timely manner when they are trying to get your business, what do you think it will be like once they have your business?
dunchues, double yellow, Hanadarko and 1 other person Thank this. -
Whats missing in this thread are "their" posts. They did respond today (finally) Sep 18th but since they posted what could be considered advertising - I suspect they were removed from this site and as such their posts were removed from this thread.
However, MM71 makes a good point which is why I initially had asked:
If they don't respond prior to your business, how responsive can they be AFTER?

Hanadarko Thanks this.

I bumped into a guy at the kingdom city TA in Missouri. He has his own authority and gave a guy 14% for dispatch and trailer rental running a hopper. The percentage covered the trailer rental and all maintenance, repairs and tires.
I'm kicking myself for not getting his info because he seemed to be doing well and it sounded like a good deal. He said after the cut he was getting $2/mile ttt.Hanadarko Thanks this. -
What's the point of $2 per mile to the truck running your own authority? You can do that leased to someone and have alot less expenses to pay out of that $2.
spyder7723, icsheeple, mp4694330 and 1 other person Thank this.
