Lonestar16 I have owned trucks (title in hand) years ago. For the past 8 years I have been at JCT in a lease capacity. I went through LoneMountain for my new truck.

 

Van Trailer Utilization found one for me. However, I will have to wait until tomorrow morning for them to send someone out to cut off the glad hand lock and padlock of of the back.

 

First week has come to an end. I took advantage of the load board to visit friends in Pensacola Fl, and family in Orlando. The next 3 loads have paid ok and were chosen to get me to Joplin in time for the Truck show this weekend. 8 days out and I have ran more miles than I plan to do normally. However my destination of Joplin was a bigger deciding factor than the revenue per mile. With that said I still did well.

 

Truck show?

 

I attend the Chrome Shop Mafia's show in Joplin every year with a handful of friends. Well that one, Gats, and Walcott with a few others sprinkled in for giggles.

 

Is there an age restriction on the truck(s) with Landstar?

 

No age limit. It just has to have an electronic engine to operate the Electronic Log. And pass an inspection at one of their approved shops.

 

what kind of flat bed trailers does landstar have to rent about what is the age range
