Truck N Bees and Bears in Pauls Valley OK

    PAULS VALLEY, Okla. - Drivers along a busy interstate may need to take a detour because of an unusual accident.

    Shortly after 1 p.m.on Sept. 29, witnesses reported seeing a truckload of honeybees turned over on I-35.

    The accident occurred along southbound I-35 near exit 72

    I drove right through that yesterday... Wasn't sure what it was until I got right to the accident site.. Lucky for me I had my windows rolled up... It was raining bees for sure..

    Thanks tucker, I tried to post this earlier today, but STILL can't figure out this new setup, so I gave up. What is it with hauling bees? Are they that hard to haul? This is like the 3rd one this year. I think, they all get together, and say, "ok, on this next turn, everybody to one side, and we're free"!!! ( I see it was a Penske truck, could explain a lot fight there)

    Tragic would've been a load of deer flies. I'd qualify that as a hazmat.

    Hey, would bees be a hazmat? They can be harmful when agitated. Emergency crews can't just rush right in and containment requires protocol and specialized gear.

    Can you even load bees on a plane?
