Lot of us don't know about video editing, but we know passing any vehicle on the berm as he did is stupid, and part of what causes truckers to get a bad name.

Doesn't excuse not stopping at the mandatory pull off at the top and passing on the shoulder or going 2x the posted speed for trucks

I agree! The only way this is acceptable driving is if he is trying to make a walmart distribution center scheduled appointment! Otherwise it is totally uncalled for.

He's lucky I wasn't driving that Knight truck at 3:17...I would've been inclined to hug that fog line giving him the unpleasant choice between sideswiping the trailer or taking out the guard rail. Either way, he would've had the unpleasant experience of trying to explain to the DOT officer why he was running those speeds and attempting a pass on the shoulder. If anyone that was up top and witnessed him blow the brake inspection station and decided to stop and laugh at his tangled mess of a truck at the bottom, he could explain that, too...IF he survived the beating he'd get if he chose to hit my trailer, so for his sake, the guard rail would've been the "safe" choice.

Then he posts it on youtube. I hope TNHP catches wind of this and investigates...tracks him down through the username and IP addresses he logs in at...and locks him away for a good long time. Used to be when you broke the law, you kept it on the down low. Now they post it on the internet, which not only draws the attention of LEO's, but makes their job unbelievably easy because you just provided them with all they need to track you down, identify you, and put you away. May as well sign your name and address in the video credits...

Good chance he would have panicked and hit you. Then the LEOS would have been putting you both in body bags... sometimes its best to let stupid be stupid.

That would have been a waste of a perfectly good truck.

Better he stop first, then pitch himself off the mountain. We'd all be better off.

truckon, G.Anthony and chopper103in Thank this.
