Want to sell a 75' Pete 359A, 400 Cummins, Air Rides.... Only 32K original miles!
Sleeper was removed & frame shortened for equip loads when purchased in 1975.
Kept in building since company closed for 30+ years.
Started every couple of years.
Where's the market for a rare bird like this?
What's the value of this Pete?

For a collector, I have no idea.
For a poor working stiff like me: a bent bottle cap. But I'm not bending the bottle cap. I'll supply the cap and a pair of pliers, you get to bend it.
Just because the truck has been started "every couple of years" doesn't mean it's ready to go. Tires, hoses, and lines are probably shot, grease fittings are bone dry, who knows what the tranny and differentials look like after sitting for 30 years without being rotated under any pressure. Plus the interior rot on the gaskets.
Add in the number of carriers that won't take a rig that old, and you are either looking for a collectr looking for a new driveway decoration or an O/O with his/her own authority. -
Arkansas, Straight Stacks, HorseShoe and 1 other person Thank this.

Its probably worth about $1500-2500. Not really much of a market. Maybe donate to a museum?
Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
Just put it on Ebay with no reserve
