Certainly not the worst I've ever seen.

If it stays put, and doesn't catch wind, all's well that ends well. :)

In fairness, that looks like a funny shaped load too.

It is a 1000 ton press and I only had about 1.5 hours to tarp it before curfew ended and I had to get the h out of Omaha or be stuck till 9am tomorrow

Agreed. At the very least I'd trade my 8 footers for some four footers if I was never getting loads that required them. Then I'd be the one getting "resupplied because of theft" Serves the company right for being silly and not properly supplying their employees with the correct tools for the job.

When these companies supply the tarps. How do they get the employees to use edge protectors and not rip the tarps to shreds after a few months of running?

I'll probably get laughed at but I'd like to sit in on Mavericks tarping class sometime. I see a lot of beautiful tarp jobs on their trailers.

I'm not laughing, and would join you, but you gotta wonder. There is a Lowe's distribution center in St Joseph, MO I drive by now and again that preloads TMC flatbeds. The spotter drops their tarps for them in a pull through bay and snugs them up ready for the driver to tuck and bungie. Whole lot of these trailers ready to go. Always makes me wonder when I see a tarp job by a company driver who's doing what.
