How's every one in the fuel biz !!!! Finally got the swung of things down. It's basically don't speak to any one and I can make money. If I get side tracked I can lose time. I'm looking forward to the winter. I'm hearing the seasoned guys speak of 1 or 2 loads if the weathers bad. Time will tell!!!!!

Which three are still running? Back when I was hauling in CC, there were 5 racks total: 2 Valero racks (Up River Rd. and the old Coastal rack off of Cantwell Ln.), 2 Citgo racks (N. Port Ave. and Buddy Lawrence), and 1 at Flint Hills.

    Which carrier folded?

None of them but the coastal one is now Valero. I should have said three companies.

I think the Citgo at Port is gone. Probably tore it out when the added two more bays at Lawrence. I've never seen it. And I repeated what you said anti the old Coastal rack. First run of the day and still half asleep. :p

Technically there is four racks, I guess.

I have been thinking about moving back to Corpus and getting back into fuel hauling, or maybe hauling coke for Dupre. But the oilfield company I work for pays well and treats us well, so I'd be stupid to leave. But I really miss the Coastal Bend...

Be safe and have a good morning.

Embarrassing !!! I think he should start right away looking for another job maybe in another state. Of course we all know this happens more than people would think. What got our trucks was the black pole in the stations. I never hit one or any other matter but you can look at the poles and see. This driver has bigger problems than just a damaged truck. Those first responders cost a lot of money and his company will pay.

Whoops... One our drivers was telling me a driver from another carrier forget to set his brakes out in Colton the other night and took the front gate out too.
