I know, should have bought less fuel, but I scaled, then fueled, trying to get out of baltimore south at 4 pm.
Pulled out of fuel island, and grabbed my scale ticket..lesson learned.

One of the guys from my previous company took what had to have been a wild ride today. Swapped ends a full 180 ended up on his left side looking back where he'd just come from. They had just set it upright and reopened the left lane when I came by. He was okay and walking around the shoulder looking at the damage. Seen him around the yard when I worked there but don't know him. No idea what happened.

Busy day coming to an end at the Harrisonburg Travel Center. I spent most of the ride on 2 lanes like this, somewhere on US-219 in PA I think. Or maybe PA-255? Lots of pictures of leaves today.
It just wouldn't have been complete without my number coming up at the Sandy Ridge brake check on PA-350. A friendly level 2 to add 45 minutes to my day and make me even later finding parking. A good time was had by all, and no violations were unearthed.
Parking turned out to be a non-issue. I've been thru here on 81 and never stopped. Too bad it's not on my fuel network. Anywhoo, the pork chops were divine, and went well with mac and cheese and a bowl of applesauce. Very good for a truck stop restaurant. Now time for a food coma, then back at it again in the morning for my first stop 2 miles from here.FatDaddy, sshewins, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and 3 others Thank this. -
Sounds like overall a dang good day Red. Can you order up a few more JUST LIKE THAT for us?
Rocks, RedForeman and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Just a reminder: With the fall colour all around (even some here in OR/WA) it's time to fire up the under bunk heater and burn off the YUK! from summer.
@Rocks will most likely be o.k. cause hers may only get a break for July and August.
Also a good shot of fuel system cleaner may help the under bunk heater work better.Vilhiem, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, Rocks and 2 others Thank this.
