It's like when the roads get wet, there's always some trucker in the crowd who says to themselves, "Well, I guess maybe it's my turn to be stupid, throw caution to the wind, forget defensive driving, and crash and look like a moron, and keep the bad image of the industry warranted".

Yes, in Temple, TX, the red truck flipped on its side is a target trailer.

It's amazing how difficult some drivers have keeping the rubber on the ground. It's just rain...lmao...be another winter of major pile ups cause drivers don't understand following distance or proper speed.....

Last night, it wasn't a case of just hydroplaning. I was on 35N from Laredo. Getting around 40 miles out from Waco, there were at least 4 places where the water was ponding up to 2 or more feet deep. These were all areas where there are jersey barriers on both sides of the road, so the water doesn't drain as well. There isn't much of a warning coming up on them. I was grateful for the cars ahead of me who slowed/stopped for the water. On the first one, Martin pulled around me and tip-toed through. After that, I took the ramps off to the frontage road if I thought there was going to be another pond.
