Don't blame me. El Paso didn't get any of that hurricane remnants. Totally missed us. Not that El Paso was all that sorry due to the storms that preceded it, lol. :D

Parked at the Love's in Baxter. My first drop is near the TA in Knoxville at exit 374.

With all the rain from Memphis to here, my truck got semi clean.

At the Pilot in Des Moines Ia...off 35/80
Headed to my first drop in Norman OK... Wednesday at 0430

Weird place... Way more trucks than people here.... Must be a lot of locals leaving their trucks here....

    TruckDuo Thanks this.

That's where I parked my truck when I stayed with my aunt, lol. :D

My bad, I forgot that there was another pilot there. I remember for a while Bosslemans was a pilot then became a J.

I parked at the J as my aunt lives in Ankeny.

If you look at that map, westbound had it easy, it was eastbound 40 and 440 that were FUBAR.

    840 was smooth sailing. :)

No wait on showers. I was shocked given how packed the parking lot is.

I think that has more to do with how likely one would be at that location to return and find their truck with empty fuel tanks and no wheels. Or just towed altogether.

Really? I didn't Des Moines had that rep. I always park at the casino in Altoona when I'm in that area anyway.

That was my point. You probably are pretty safe there if that many are leaving trucks unattended. I stayed a day at that J @PackRatTDI mentioned and also noticed a lot of drivers catching rides home.
