I worked for them out of Chicago for a while on both regional and local. It's a decent job but it's got draw backs like any other trucking job. You'll start at 43 cpm regional and depending on what dispatch you end up with you'll make between 850 and 1100 a week gross.

Chicago regional dispatch will probably get you more miles buy honestly I'd ask to be put on greenbay dispatch if I were you. The green bay team will have you running what practically amounts to a dedicated lane and Kristen and her guys know their #### on top of that they are way nicer and easier to deal with than any of the people in chicago. You'll still park at the yard on Kostner with that assignment. When you're up in gb just go talk to the intermodal team when you get a free moment.

As for getting driving experience don't worry about it. You're gonna be in and out of Chicago every day and aside from driving mountains you're gonna see pretty much every stupid thing that can happen on the road doing this job. Traffic is going to be worse, people will drive like animals around you and you're gonna be going to places in the city that can barely accommodate trucks. You will either learn how to drive real quick or youre gonna have a real bad time.
