If you pull a flat you should always be on the look out for old rubber conveyor belts. It's a pain to cut but will last longer than we will and is extremely useful.CJndaTruck Thanks this. -
A couple mills I went to kept coil bags and edge protection "stocked"
You had to buy it but if you showed up missing some equipment I guess you're out of luck.
I really think it was the crane operators getting smart with a business plan lolSneakerfix Thanks this. -
I just use old pieces of tarp and fold it up

Tarpstop.com has coil cuffs, myteeproducts.com also sells them. Expect to pay around $75-$100. I actually have an old truck rim cut up for edge protectors.

Thanks for the feedback guys (i totally forgot I posted this lol). I only do coils once every 2 weeks or so, so I never really thought I needed them. But I pulled an aluminum coil a few weeks ago and they wouldn't let me use chains unless I had those metal corners so I figured I should look into them since even a little coil like that made me nervous as Hell to only have 8 straps on it
