Well then, you know something that I don't. I have more than a few pals over there at Schneider and they are all consistent in telling me that they are being charged, on a weekly basis, for their machines.
I'm going to check into this thing further and I will post results; results, incidentally, that I will follow up with facts and references.
    Stay tuned....

Mickey was more accurate in that if you stay for a year as a company driver the machine is yours. If you leave earlier than a year they charge you for the machine. And in regards to supplies the insurance covers that 100% with no charge. I was on that program for 3 years I was never charged a dime out of pocket.

thank you for the replies. it's relieving to see that sleep apnea has good coverage, as far as the bariatric surgery, my due to my wife's bmi and recent diagnosis with diabetes she has gotten certification that it's "medically necessary"

whether or not the insurance company cares, however, is yet to be seen, 80/20 is doable but out of pocket is not. I've already got my cpap and I'm 100% compliant, so hopefully it'll not be an issue with that, but my wife has been hounding me about this

Looks like you are correct, Steve. I did check further into this. There is one small caveat, however; for the CPAP machine to be covered, you must have Schneider's health insurance. Fair enough.

Schneider benefits are going to cost you about 20 percent of your wages if you intend to cover yourself and family members. It's expensive coverage with high deductibles. But that's the norm nowadays. Figure working about one day per week, plus or minus, just to pay for insurance and all the add-ons.
    Yippee skippee.
