Hey guys, been on the road a decade plus, but never as a car hauler. I'm getting my first ebay car moved, and wondering if I need to tell the broker to bump up the quote. I know I would never move a 53' van or reefer 280 mi for $200, but if you're getting that on multiple cars on the trailer is that avg? Getting car in western NE around the 76/80 junction moved to southeast NE, so I figure if nothing else somebody who's running 80 anyway and has a slot might only have an extra 120 mi or so, but assuming may take a while?
Is my car gonna get moved?

Not my cup of tea either. Maybe @KANSAS TRANSIT could give you a good answer.
Out of curiosity, what'd you get? -
280 miles! Go get it yourself!!!

Cottonmouth85 Thanks this. -
That's a big heavy car!

You may need to look for someone who specializes in transporting boats. But very cool, that will make a nice cruiser.
KANSAS TRANSIT and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
Aye, that's the other issue. Prolly take a slot 1/2 on carrier.
-
I would say $500 and a hot shot would move it
-
Is the $200 without the brokers cut? NE isn't big for cars but it will likely get moved at that price, dont know if will arrive damage free or not though.
How long have you been waiting and what broker are you using? -
That's what I"m hoping to avoid on a car under 1k lol...My understanding is that it was put on the loadboards last tues or weds when signed broker agreement, but wasn't available for dispatch till sat cause i still had to pay balance on auction. If it's anything like general freight, I know it could be booked anywhere from a week out, to an hour before pickup lol.
