8 in two years, wow just wow. Why fight it you obviously couldn't care less about your record.

 

I always suggest fighting all tickets and if officer is wrong in warning tickets dataq them as well.
Not sure where Edinburg is (my maps don't show it Edinburgh IN is all I find) but I can't find any restrictions near Shelbyville.
I seem to remember running 60 from Middletown to Bridgeport before but I may be wrong.

 

You were not on a STAA (National Truck Network)route. If you were more than 96in wide or 65ft long (including tractor), the tickets are valid and you are going to lose.

If you look at the truckers atlas, you won't see the orange marking for STAA routes on that section of US 60.

 

Title 49 USC, 31114 I believe it requires states to not blanket restrictions against vehicles 102"
So the over width might not be right unless there is a safety reason on that route?
Now I may be reading that section wrong so don't hold me to it and get all mad if I am just correct me.

 

I've driven for many years too unless you can prove that the officers involved issued you tickets for no reason then your best paying the fines. Yes it does raise revenue however they don't get nothing off you if you obey the rules. Best example i've seen was when a Police officer was issuing tickets to trucks for not pulling over to do a break check before going down the mountain trouble is there was no sign so he was not supposed to issue any tickets the officer made the mistake of pulling over a driver who also worked part time as a sheriff when the fellow officer saw his badge he immediately proceeded to wave him on but the sheriff demanded that he write him a citation it went to court and the judge made them cancel all fines issued and reimbursed all who'd paid for any of the infringements issued.
