About 37,000lbs. My first load pulling pulling a flat. A bit better than containers

Most of them are geared for 55, I've never timed one but I'll ask my brother who drives one. All I know is they use every single one of those 18 gears and they are bloody slow up hills.

Sounds like a relaxing period of time just getting up to speed, hahah.

Do you know how the pay is pulling those things? Or the pay in general trucking over there.

    Ozdriver Thanks this.

My brother is driving a quad like in the pic shifting ore from mine to port in the north west. They are on flat rate $45/hr, fly in/fly out, 4 weeks on/2 weeks off. Food/accomodation/flights paid for. They're on 12-14 hrs/day. He says likes the job, but it's in an isolated part of the country and its stinking hot atm.

That sounds pretty #### good to me, except for the 2 weeks off part. ;)

Maybe you're right. I just hate 'time off'. 36 hours is enough for me.

Delivered this rental yesterday and then moved a 270 komatsu back to the gravel company shop. Forgot to get photos of that one though.
