Well, if the truck of your dreams includes the 235,000 or whatever it'll cost if you get a new one, then hope you love it a lot.

You won't like HVH. If you're not into doing regional (that's right) and I do not mean regional like from where you live but regional as in out and back to denver, then you probably will not like HVH. They claim 80% of their owner operators stay with HVH. And that may be true, but they fail to mention that 100% of that 80% live in or near denver.

They do force you to run being that if you don't go where they want you to when they want you to they will leave you sitting. And if you deadhead home or to any other place that they didnt authorize or otherwise dictate you to go, they'll terminate your lease claiming lack of communication.

The whole only local drivers are company is malarchy. I've seen two company owned sleeper trucks, regional or OTR I don't know. But I've seen them.

Yep. I live in Texas. They left me sitting in California weekend before Thanksgiving cause I wouldn't run to Colorado when they were getting hit with blizzard like conditions. They continued to insist that all the runs they had were Colorado. They did say they could get me to Washington or oregon, but I would have to eventually come back to denver. I'm assuming just to turn in paperwork. Which is stupid. They should get with the times of transflo. So I said piss on it and deadheaded home. They terminated my lease. Quality come and got the truck when HVH terminated my lease and left their trailer here. Haha.
