I think the drive cam saves the dudes bacon, not much he could do. At least the clown with the plastic for a window, that caused it all stopped.

There was nothing he could have done, except what he did afterwards.

Pull over, swear under your breath, and hope no one died.

The car that got hit by the truck sealed their own fate when they stopped abruptly without checking their mirrors after the initial sideswipe by the weaving car. A more prudent approach would have been to maintain speed (they weren't out-of-control yet) after the initial collision and safely work their way back over to the shoulder to exchange info. Instead, they mashed the brakes after getting booted from their lane, got bumped by the truck that was already in that lane, and ended up on their lid. Lack of situational awareness turned a minor little incident into a total loss.

They should have just watched the video 30 times beforehand.

They also had no mirror on the left side and plastic over the window, that car shouldn't of even been on the road.

Did the moron really think his car was too damaged to pull to the side. Even the car he hit made it there even if it was on its roof.

It's called common sense. You don't lock up the brakes on a busy interstate, especially after getting forced out of your lane in front of a semi truck. Regain control, maintain speed, and SAFELY make your way to the shoulder. It really isn't all that hard to do. There were 2 separate wrecks in that video. One caused by the weaving car, and the other by the car that slammed on the brakes after recovering from the sideswipe. The first wreck didn't cause the second. Sure, it was a contributing factor, but fault for that bump & flip lies entirely with the person who mashed the brakes without knowing what was behind them.
