Every single company out there that hires drivers is a bad company to some of them. Every single company is also a good company

I have a love/hate relationship with the company I work with.Yes they tick me off but on the other I tick them off to.
nobody's perfect. Some things they do really have nothing to do with them though just business. I see a lot of drivers complaining about that but the company has to make money to pay you. -

I think any comments by anyone you have to take "with a grain of salt "
There are those people with perpetually optimistic attitudes who just take the good with the bad and keep going. And then there are those who could never be satisfied.
Just how it isbad attitude 75 and Diaper Rash Thank this. -
Well, there is always 3 sides to every story. The companies, the drivers, and the truth.
RVTransporter, TruckerNerd and bad attitude 75 Thank this. -
Well all I know is that in 1982 as a greenhorn driver I made $43,000 driving a big rig over the road. And that's when 6 days on the road was considered long-haulin. And so the other day I met this nice young lady driver at a stop and she was on pace to make what I made in 1982. Think about that!! It's 2015 and she's a greenhorn earning what I did 33 years ago !!! And she's out on the road for a few weeks at a time, to boot. Sure, them new trucks are much better than my cracerjack Jimmy what with the air ride, and big sleepers and conditioned air, and such. But hell, it just goes to show you what's happened to wages since the industry was deregulated. And that's proof in the pudding enough for me.
White_Knuckle_Newbie, OJTTrucker, Canned Spam and 3 others Thank this. -
maybe so HP, but this industry is still attractive for the vagabonds, destitute, 3rd or 4th chancers, etc. The wages sure are stagnant or worse, but still appealing to many newbs, that is until they find out the reality.
superflow and TruckerNerd Thank this.
