The worst one I remember, and it's been a while, is the one I Napolean, Ohio. It is or at least was run by Indians and it was dirty!. Probably still is! I hated those Campbell's Soup loads!
Worst truck stop you have been to

Plus the permit is still good for when you unload and have to wait for dispatch. If you got it at 7pm, it's good till 7pm the next day. Plus you have that 24 hours to buy fuel or $20 in merchandise and get your $10 refunded.
At a regular ticket based parking lot, you'd have to get your ticket, pay the fee when you left to unload in the am, get another ticket if you came back and if you stayed more than 2 hours, pay again for another 24 hours.Last edited: Aug 29, 2015

It's better now than it used to be , but 20 years ago the old Brookwood truckstop just north of Tuscaloosa was awful. You'd go into the restrooms and there weren't even doors on the crapper stalls. I didn't bother to mention how bad the smell was.
I am a sucker for a quiet lot to sleep in , though. That's what keeps bringing me back.
No neon signs drawing the steering wheel holders into the lot like moths to a flame. I like my little secret spots.
I just don't eat there! -
The old TA in Atlanta...but I kinda miss the old trashy truck stops
