What's the purpose of a lease program if you never own the truck?

To make the company a ton of money. You're pulling their freight and paying them for a truck to do it with. Sucker!

Why I will agree it is a way to get a truck the odds are not in your favor, You really have to be on your game to make a decent check why getting to the point you own the truck

As for people that do leases that cant really own the truck.. simple, Extortion.

How can you actually beat the house and actually lease to own a truck?

Most leases do have a buyout at the end. With that, most leases are really just a cheaper way for companies to operate. They save on equipment, taxes and pay and usually are not worth it as a driver. But it is an option to becoming an OO. Might not be the best one.

I have done it, as few others have also. Its all about knowing your fixed cost and having the ability to run a business with the understanding of how to regulate profits and loss. The reason so many people fail is they simply don't have the experience or understanding of how to run a business. The company's are not going to hold your hand and most set you up for failure, you have to know how to beat the house.

Some can be $1 at the end others can be 60k at the end. It depends from company to company and how the lease is structured.
