make of truck please..... the reason is MOST trucks really only use 1 antenna for the cb (drivers side) the other side is for the tv and radio..

volvo DOES us both (i have 1) i use twin K40's (2500w i think) and they work great but major pain to set the swr on because you have to set each 1... you will end up going back and forth 2-5 times to get it right

    Allenmichael27 Thanks this.

You forgot to mention what type of vehicle it's going on. That's the most important part of the equation.

You should be able to tune them simultaneously. You can't tune them individually because when you put them In parallel the resonant frequency will be different.

Best way to tune twin antennas is to put a dummy load on one antenna and tune that antenna. Then switch the dummy load and tune the second antenna.

A better way is to use just one antenna on the drivers side.

Slap on a pair of Francis and your done. No worries on matching etc. Best antenna you can buy for the money. And don't forget to get a good mic, SRA 198, buy it on amazon its the cheapest.
