Awesome! I found you. You are one of the ####### I've been warned about.

Just so you know, it cost me 6500 dollars for CDL school. It's PEAK in Maryville, TN.
I'm not a mechanic and that is not part of the pretrip.

Please take pictures when you go #### yourself.

Lmao. 6500 bucks for a plastic card you keep in your wallet. You better go get your money back cuz you got jipped. Checking the bushings is part of the pretip. This is tooo funny and yes im an a hole for saying your driving for a junk carrier. You will learn soon enough when mr occifer puts you out of service.

how long did you have to wait for a wrecker? Two days is rediculous having to wait but might as well start getting use to the long wait now.shop probably didn't order the parts till the next day and the parts didn't come in till the following day.

I'm not a mechanic either but a tire rod is something important, hense what happen to you lucky going a slow speed.

I don't get what u mean "not part of a pretrip", does d.o.t have a list of items to check? I just been looking at things that might be critical, brake pad, slack adjusters, but mainly clearance lights, they are number 1 on my list to check

Bushings on the tie rod are part of the DOT pre-trip /post-trip inspection.

And don't sweat the hate. Some people have nothing to live for except putting other people down. Besides, you may not have been able to see anything obvious. As I recall, the bushings section calls for "not broken, bent, missing any nuts/bolts and not rubbing."

Yep, there's a list to check. Illinois is the worst state for flunking drivers that are trying to get a cdl, for missing something or mispronouncing a word on the pre-trip. "You failed because you said 'hose' three times instead of 'line' and you called an 'air pressure indicater' a 'air pressure guage' so you're a hazard to be on the road and you FAIL.

Washington is mostly just as bad, though there is some leeway, at least with the guy with whom I tested.

I couldn't remember "Valve Stem." I said: "The thingy that sticks out where you check your air pressure."

I didn't get dinged for it.
