Does it do the same thing on the AC Cord?
Lightly squeeze the flat ends of the USB end of the DC cord and see if that helps.
Thanks,
Mark

I'll try that.
And the AC Cord I will have to find.Mark Kling Thanks this. -
Just bought a TND530LM. Overall quite satisfied. A couple issues:
Every time I press the screen, the screen gets a momentary blurry distortion in the exact same spot near the left side, regardless of where I press. It happens whenever the truck hits a bump too.
I also had a problem with the charger losing connection, but it's ok now that I have the cord in the bracket. Still, if I wiggle the USB end with my fingers it loses connection. I think it should be making better contact than this. I do like that it uses a mini USB (instead of a micro). -
The USB connector on the 530/730 are quite tight. You should not have any slack in them.
The distortion sounds like a hardware issue. I would suggest returning it for and exchange.
Thanks,
Mark -
Yeah the connector is fine now.
I bought this from a truck stop, would I have to return it to the same one? I can't seem to find the answer on the RM website. -

I found the AC plug it came with.
Started acting up again lol.
Plugged it in and hasn't done it since..
Do you know if and when a newer GPS would be released? If you're allowed to say even.
Guessing it would be 740.
Or maybe they will concentrate more on the Tablet thing. -
When plugging it in, let it charge for several hours turned off to charge the battery up without trying to run the HD screen at the same time.
Thanks,
mark
