Quivican Whse No Rest Rooms for Drivers

I'd have called the local health department and told them the company did not have restroom facilities for employee's.
By delivering or picking up their freight, you become a "de Facto" contract employee.
They do not have to provide restroom facilities to the general public, but do have to supply restrooms to employee's.
That might not help you, in this instance, but will in the end help those who come after you.

 

They could at least put out honey buckets?
btw was this a drop and hook situation or reefer?

 

It was likely a forced response to years of cleaning up after pigs who had no respect for other people's property or desire to maintain even an ounce of cleanliness. It is unfortunate that our profession is saddled with so many low life slobs that exhibit the worst behavior and habits.

 

Sad but true....but the least they can do is have an outside Porta potty.

 

Lol I never thought of stickin my @&% over the ICC bar that would work out most terrifically. Nothin worse than the residual feeling after having to use the honey bucket in the truck.

 

This may sound like a wild story made up, but it's true.
I was at a place where drivers weren't allowed to use the restroom. This old black guy about 70 yrs. old pooped on the steps outside the warehouse that leads to the receiving office. He stood there and warned the drivers about it. He said, "At my age, what are they going to do to me?"

 

And then you get places like duro-bag in Frankfort, Ky that the bathrooms are so disgusting you don't even want to use them. I walked in there and just about puked and figured I could hold it long enough to get out of there.

It's not always the drivers fault though. Many people enjoy causing problems for others just because they have the power to do it. Makes them feel good about themselves that they have so much power to even control a rest room. Usually I could figure out a way for some payback before I left just for the satisfaction of it. I got real good at short stacking then chuckle when the clown signed the bills that everything is there because he checked it.
